Massey Mines
BP Deepwater Horizon
Fukishima Radiation Catastrophe
Exxon Valdez
OIL Ecudar
What would the BP Horizon disaster looked like if the EPA had been deregulated...would we have even heard about it? Who would enforce responsibility and immediated clean up while Corporate lawyers evaded and positioned? How many more disasters like that would happen if the oil industry was left to regulate itself?
An attempt to land and resource grab by the corporations that bought the PR and the created the candidates to win the post Citizens United ruling. Let the corporation rule; lets deregulate oil companies and their ocean platforms, lets have the Coal industry and giants like Massey regulate themselves, lets open Utah to tar stripping and processing, lets open watershed after watershed to fracking contamination for natural gas.
To me it seems like the big powers of oil and gas, and all those that hold stock in the industry for financial gain will stop at nothing until they have milked every dollar out of their holding. Poison the world for financial gain. In a time when solar, ocean and wind can capture so much, so cleanly. Some still wish to strip our earth, contaminate our finite water supply, sicken our people. What other answer could there be?
